Caroline Benson
Practice Manager
Caroline is the practice manager for both Evolution and The Dam. She loves her job and the diversity of it as no day is ever the same. Caroline has two cats called Levi and Holly; both cats were brought into the practice at different times after being found as kittens with no homes. She also has a parrot called Billy and two Indian running ducks!

Victoria Smith
Practice Administrator
Victoria first came to the practice as a school work experience student in 1995. She then completed a business management course after which she returned to the practice as a receptionist in 1999 when we were situated on King Edward Road. In 2000 she was part of the team that moved to our new site on White Lane. She remained as a receptionist until 2012 when she became the practice administrator, a role she very much enjoys. In 2016 Victoria also became the practice administrator at The Dam Veterinary Centre in Selby so her time is now split between the two practices. Victoria has had many pets over the years and is currently a mum to two small children and her cat, Mike.

Paula Baines
Receptionist
Paula joined the practice in February 2018, being animal crazy and having a keen interest in animal welfare means this is her ideal job.
Paula has five dogs of her own and a cat, Domino, who was re-homed with her after being abandoned. She also has a great love of pigs, which she keeps on her smallholding, a small flock of Ryeland sheep, around 30 speciality chickens and two horses, which are ridden and driven. Paula breeds the pigs and sheep for sale at rare breed markets and to preserve the bloodlines for onward breeding.
Paula is a member of her local amateur dramatic group. She is also mum to two boys and enjoys nothing more than long walks with her dogs or attending livestock markets.
